Qualifications

Able to work on your feet 7-8 hours a day (14-24 hours a week) with energy and enthusiasm
Consistently show up on assigned days and on-time.
Ability to learn to make all the menu items (training will be provided)
Ability to wash dishes, machines and clean the shop
Follows food service hygiene and sanitation skills
Ability to stock the freezer and refrigerator
Comfortable working alone
Ability to lift 10-20 lbs
Must be able to legally work in the US
Basic English talking proficiency
18+ years old
Prior food service experience a plus

Overview

Koolfi Creamery makes unique, Indian-inspired craft ice cream in San Leandro. We opened our first store in Oct 2022. We are fortunate to be ready to grow our team with folks who enjoy a chill environment that is geared towards cooperation, skills building, efficiency, and helping you chase your dreams.

You as a scooper will be our brand ambassador, our primary contact with our customers, representing a unique, craft, ice cream and hot bites store. Your responsibility includes pleasant interactions with customers, scooping ice cream the Koolfi way, making delicious hot drinks and hot bites, stocking pint freezer, maintaining a spotless environment throughout the day, cleaning and restocking and closing out the store. We are looking for someone who likes people and loves ice cream!
