One afternoon, Priti’s mom swapped mint for curry leaf in her orange juice concoction, and boom! A hint of bitter awesomeness was born. So, we took that genius move and whipped it into a sorbet.
Completely unrelated to the curry powder – curry leaves are native to India and add a zing to any dish. Part of the citrus crew, they bring a citrusy, slightly bitter flavor and aroma that’s just mouthwatering.
We crush these curry leaves and ginger together and let them steep with loads of fresh orange juice we squeeze ourselves. Then churn it all into a scintillating sorbet. Presenting the one and only Curry Leaf frozen delight in the whole wide world!
